Reporting to Chancellor James T. Minor, the VCSA will steer SIUE’s student affairs initiatives, promoting student success and well-being. This leadership position entails collaborating with students, faculty, staff, and external partners to craft and implement programs that address diverse student needs.

Ideal Qualifications and Traits
The VCSA will hold a master’s degree (doctoral preferred) and boast 7-10 years of higher education leadership. They’ll embody visionary leadership, transparency, and commitment to equity. Data-driven decision-making, fiscal acumen, and empathy will be their strengths
